Former 2016 GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson doesn’t believe the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) investigation into The Clinton Foundation will yield justice.

“I don’t think anything will come of it, not because there isn’t anything there, but because our system is so incredibly corrupt,” Carson tells Breitbart News during an exclusive interview. “If we just continue to sweep these things under the rug, how can we ever expect any integrity and truth?”

The Daily Caller reported on Wednesday that IRS Commissioner John Koskinen is reviewing congressional charges of “public corruption” at The Clinton Foundation — specifically a “pay-to-play” scheme — alleged by 64 members of Congress in a formal letter earlier this month.

Breitbart News editor-at-large Peter Schweizer first detailed several of The Clinton Foundation’s questionable business dealings in his 2015 book Clinton Cash, which has also been made into a documentary.

“I think one of the biggest dangers we face is that most people now look at our government with skepticism and the things that they hear, they say, ‘Yeah…that’s just the way it is,’ and we accept it,” Carson added. “If we accept corruption, then the corruption is the way that we will go.”
