Donald Trump is firing back after Hillary Clinton’s statement on calling half of Trump’s supporters “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” — “a basket of deplorables.”
“Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of amazing, hard working people. I think it will cost her at the Polls!” Trump posted on Twitter.
Clinton made the remarks Friday night at a fundraiser in New York City.
“You know to just be grossly generalist, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables…the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it,” Clinton stated.
