Davone Bess, a wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, may have tweeted a picture of marijuana on Thursday.
From his verified @davonebess account, Bess tweeted a photo of a greenish substance in a small bag. What appears to the be the same substance is also spread on the table.
The Browns are looking into the matter while the NFL declined to comment on the situation.
“The team is aware of the photos and looking further into the situation and will deal with the matter internally,” a Browns spokesman said in a statement.
This is the second time that Bess may have sent out photos of his marijuana through his social media accounts.
