Media Trashes McCain to Protect Obama: Libya Crusade ‘Personal’

Now that Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham are very publicly ramping up their push to get to the bottom of what happened in Libya, Obama’s media guardians are trying to undermine McCain’s investigation by portrating it as motivated by nothing more than animosity still left over from the 2008 campaign.

CNN’s Dan Bash accused McCain of suffering from “residual campaign fever:”

Just a few moments ago on MSNBC, NBC’s Chief White House Correspondent, Chuck Todd, practically mocked McCain, accusing him of the same motives. Todd then went on to credit Obama for the restraint he’s shown over the last four years in the face of McCain pursuing his sore loser vendetta.

Apparently, there’s no low the media won’t stoop to block, distract, and deflect away from anything that might help us get to the bottom of what happened on September 11th of this year. And as Mitt Romney learned and McCain is learning now, the media is prepared to publicly brutalize anyone who raises questions or wants to get to that truth.

But as I mentioned here, protecting Obama’s place in history is the media’s second-term crusade, and the only way to do that is to whack-a-mole anyone who dares expose the president’s unforgivably dishonest bungling that cost four Americans their lives and then tried to cover it up.
