No, President Bush Was Never A Sex Symbol

In response to Pres. George W. Bush, the Right’s Presidential Sex Symbol?:

Really, Javier. Name one Republican women who “swooned” over President Bush.  Yes, it’s true that he was considered rugged and manly in a regular guy kinda way. Remember how much fun we had with this in 2004?:

 

But nobody I know would have characterized him as a “sex symbol.”

And I could be wrong, but isn’t the saying, “politics is show business for ugly people” generally meant for the politicians? – not their staffers or pundits, (mucho macho Latin American pundits notwithstanding.)
