The Benghazi attack happened on Sep. 11, 2012.
16 days later, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the man who made the YouTube video that Obama and Clinton blamed for the Benghazi attack, was arrested and jailed as a “danger to the community.”
645 days later, the U.S. finally captured Ahmed Abu Khattala, the terrorist believed responsible for the attack, in which four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, were killed.
Oh, and it took fewer than 38 days for the New York Times to find Khattala sipping strawberry frappés and taking in the evening air:
But just days after President Obama reasserted his vow to bring those responsible to justice, Mr. Abu Khattala spent two leisurely hours on Thursday evening at a crowded luxury hotel, sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio and scoffing at the threats coming from the American and Libyan governments.
Well, he’s not scoffing anymore.
But what difference, at this point, does it make?
