Ex Shantel Jackson Says Anti-Abortion Tweet Should Kill Mayweather's Clippers Ownership Bid

Is abortion now a litmus test gauging whether one is morally qualified to own a basketball team?

Floyd Mayweather’s tweet condemning abortion has sparked the alleged mother of his aborted twins to suggest that the opinion disqualifies the boxer from buying the Los Angeles Clippers. Mayweather had expressed interest in purchasing the embattled NBA team after the league banned its owner for life for making racist comments.

“Well,” Shantel Jackson reacted on Instagram to Mayweather’s tweet, “with that type of behavior I guess you just gave up on owning that NBA team huh? Lol #childish #growup @nba.” The twins remain unavailable for comment on the parental spat.

Mayweather had tweeted, and deleted, a message condemning abortion and blaming it for the breakup with the woman he once gave a $10,000,000 engagement ring to. “The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a[n] abortion,” the 45-0 welterweight tweeted, “and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies.”

Mayweather, the highest-paid athlete in the world, looks to bank at least another $32 million in his pay-per-view fight against Marcos Maidana this Saturday. Oddsmakers peg the undefeated fighter as an 11-1 favorite. Statisticians estimate an unborn American child’s chances of escaping the abortionist’s killing instruments at 54 percent.
