Rush Limbaugh: Justified Outrage over Ray Rice Video Proves Feminism 'Artificial'

On his Tuesday radio show, Rush Limbaugh said that the justified outrage over Ray Rice’s video in which he knocks his then-fiancee unconscious in an elevator proves that feminism is “artificial” and that there are legitimate differences between men and women.

He took issue with feminists who insist that men and women are equal in every way while responding to a caller who tried to minimize the incident:

It isn’t real because men and women aren’t equal. If feminism was actually what they are portraying it to be, there wouldn’t be this kind of outrage and shock. If they really meant men and women are equal, if they really meant what’s good for the goose, good for the gander, if they really meant all that. But they don’t. Because the outrage that’s occurred here is natural, as it should be, and it points out the differences that exist by nature between men and women, that they can’t change.
