Ebola Apartment Being Cleaned, Quarantined Individuals Remain Inside

HOUSTON, Texas — The apartment where the Dallas Ebola patient, Thomas Eric Duncan, was staying prior to being quarantined at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is now being cleaned, Breitbart Texas has learned. 

Dallas County Fire Marshal Robert De Los Santos told Breitbart Texas that Dunca’s personal belongings, including bedding and towels, will be double-sealed and put into an over-stuffed drum. That drum will then be sealed, and the Fire Department will transport the materials to an undisclosed location. 

Subsequent to getting the proper permitting, a HAZMAT contractor is expected to transport the drums to a final storage location. 

The Fire Marshall said he expects a total of four to five drums to ultimately be utilized. 

He added that the Ebola patient’s girlfriend, and several other individuals, are still being quarantined inside the apartment unit. They are supposedly in good spirits. The quarantined individuals will be moved to another non-medical apartment after the cleaning is complete. Their vehicle will additionally be towed from the scene, Breitbart Texas has learned.
