Blagojevich High-Fives Inmates At His New Prison Digs

According to CBS News, impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich began high-fiving other prison inmates at dinner during his inaugural night at the FCI Englewood federal prison in Colorado. His last stop before entering prison was Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers in Littleton, where he apparently grabbed a cheeseburger and a soda before making his way to the slammer.

“There’s no sugar-coating this,” he told the media. “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. And I have a hole in my heart. It’s an empty feeling.”

The good news: Blago can be paid up to $320 per month while working in the cafeteria. Knowing Blagojevich, that will quickly become several million dollars per year. No wonder he’s high-fiving his new compatriots
