Obama Votes Present on Same-Sex Marriage; No Executive Action Promised

Typical Barack Obama.

He’s personally in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage, but when it comes to this particular principle, he’s suddenly a Federalist:

The president stressed that this is a personal position, and that he still supports the concept of states deciding the issue on their own. But he said he’s confident that more Americans will grow comfortable with gays and lesbians getting married, citing his own daughters’ comfort with the concept.

So there you go gay voters and gay money men; Obama’s not going to do a damn thing for you, other than to take your money and votes.

Happy now?

And remember, when a politician switches positions and moves even further to the left, the media doesn’t call it a flip-flop, they call it an “evolution.”

After all, if Obama is okay with states deciding the issue, that means he’s okay with what happened in North Carolina yesterday, correct? Which is a flip-flop, er, I mean, an evolution from yesterday.

Obama’s laughing all the way to the bank.
