On November 14th, five young conservative professionals received a special honor for their service to our nation. The Young Conservatives Coalition (YCC) awarded their 3rd annual Buckley Awards for Young Conservative Leadership. Over 200 attendees helped celebrate the occasion.

The winners were Katie Pavlich, Lila Rose, Patrick Coyle, Alex Shriver, and Heather Pfitzenmaier.

The awards, named after the late William F. Buckley Jr., are presented in honor of of his great service to conservative causes and his accomplishments of founding the National Review and writing God &Man at Yale, all before the age of 30. The event was cosponsored by the Republican National Federation, America’s Future Foundation, the College Republican National Committee and Allegiance Direct.

Chris Malagisi, YCC’s President, stated:

This is the third year the YCC has given out this award to deserving young professional conservatives who’ve advanced the conservative cause and showed courage under fire. In a year of tough electoral challenges these rising stars played a critical role in helping advance conservatism this past year.  We are proud to honor these individuals for their contributions to the conservative movement and the example they set for others.
