Interviews with Family at Sandy Hook Elementary

This morning there was a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. Local station WTNH 8 was on scene and did a couple of good interviews with families connected to the school. This first clip features young Alexis who saw police massing outside her window this morning. She describes kids who were so upset they “got a stomach ache”:

This second clip is an interview with a very well spoken 17 y.o. high school student whose little sister attends Sandy Hook Elementary. He and his mother rushed to the school after a neighbor called them to say she had heard gun shots:
