Last Friday, House Speaker John Boehner told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to simply “Go f–k yourself” as tensions boiled over between the two Congressional leaders days before the country was slated to go over the so-called fiscal cliff.
Here’s how Politico described the exchange:
“Go f– yourself,” Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present.
Reid, a bit startled, replied: “What are you talking about?”
Boehner repeated: “Go f– yourself.”
Late Tuesday night, the parties agreed to a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff, which included raising taxes on individuals and families making over $400,000 and $450,000, respectively.
