Poll: Just 22% of Liberals Think Border Security 'Racist'

Crosstab data from a new immigration reform poll by Rasmussen Reports shows that 22 percent of likely-to-vote liberals think border security is “racist.”

The crosstab data, provided to Breitbart News, show that when asked by the pollster “Are people who want to secure the border and prevent illegal immigration racist?” 22 percent of liberals answered “yes.”

The data shows 50 percent of liberals answered “no” to that question and 29 percent said they were unsure.

Nine percent of conservatives answered “yes” when asked that question, whereas 76 percent said “no” and 15 percent said they were unsure. Six percent of moderates answered “yes,” 72 percent said “no” and 22 percent were unsure.

Given the media drumbeat and Democrat rhetoric against supporters of tighter border security, it is revealing that only 22% of self-described liberals believe their message.
