Obama's Deficit Spending Projections Were Off by $1.6 Trillion

President Barack Obama’s newly unveiled 2014 budget reveals that his original 2010 deficit projections were off by $1,631,000,000,000–or 43 percent

Obama’s initial deficit projection for 2010 to 2014 was $3.767 trillion. In his latest budget, submitted two months after the legally-required February 4th deadline, Obama says deficit spending from 2010 to 2014 will be $5.398 trillion.

If implemented, Obama’s budget would increase the national debt to $25.4 trillion, according to a GOP budget committee analysis.
