Study: Americans Spend $61M to Get Arms Like Michelle O's

First Lady Michelle Obama may want Americans to move, but more and more of them are apparently opting instead for surgery to correct their aesthetic shortcomings.

According to experts, arm lifts – a surgery in which the skin on the upper arms is tightened to avoid sagging – have become increasingly popular, at least in part thanks to Michelle’s frequent use of sleeveless dresses. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reported that $61 million was spent last year to do brachioplasties, and cited a recent poll stating that “women most admire the arms of first lady Michelle Obama, followed closely by Jennifer Aniston.”
