Weiner to Child: 'The Internet Is Where It's At'

Over the weekend, former Congressman and current New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner hit the stump to push his campaign. During one event, he had an awkward event with a child. An eight-year-old second-grader at PS 182, Jenesis Vaughn, had the following exchange with Weiner after telling him she wanted to go into journalism:

WEINER: What kind of reporter do you want to be? A print reporter, for a newspaper, or a TV reporter?

VAUGHN: I just want to be a TV reporter.

WEINER: You might not want to go into TV – it’s a dying industry. The internet is where it’s at.

Weiner should know.
