EXCLUSIVE: Zimmerman Brother: 'I Am Very Concerned About The Safety of Jurors'

On Wednesday afternoon, Robert Zimmerman, brother of George Zimmerman, the former neighborhood watch volunteer now on trial for the death of Trayvon Martin, spoke exclusively to Breitbart News about jury selection. “I am very concerned about the safety of jurors,” he said.

“I know the nature of the media and the media will naturally do everything they can to reveal the identity of jurors. As a person who has been living in hiding for over a year, as a non-lawyer, I am worried jurors might feel pressured to convict on a ‘lesser included’ offense,” he continud.

Zimmerman did express trust in the jury system, stating, “I have tremendous faith in a jury’s ability to rise to the occasion and do the right thing. I would like to see the jury protected at all costs. It is essential the public participates in the process and respects the outcome.”
