Prosecution Witness: Zimmerman's Nose Broken, Injuries Consistent with Head Slammed on Concrete

On Friday at the murder trial of George Zimmerman, the prosecution asked physician’s assistant Lindzee Folgate of the Altamonte Family Practice whether Zimmerman’s nose was broken. 

The prosecution seemed to be confused as to what constitutes a broken nose, apparently believing that the fact that Zimmerman’s septum appeared to be straight meant that his nose was not broken. Folgate promptly answered that his nose appeared to be broken despite the straight septum.

Folgate further testified that Zimmerman’s injuries could be consistent with his head being hit on concrete.
