Nearly 75% of Americans say they have not been impacted by the sequester cuts. The across-the-board spending cuts went into effect in March.

According to a United Technologies/National Journal Congressional Connection poll, 74% of Americans said they have seen no impact from the sequester and 23% said they have “seen any impact of these cuts.” The poll found that 78% of Republicans, 71% of Democrats, and 73% of independents have not felt the impact of sequestration.

In addition, “21 percent of nonwhites, 23 percent of people earning less than $50,000 a year, and 25 percent of college graduates said they had noticed the cuts.”

The Poll was conducted Oct. 3-6 and the margin of error is +/-  3.7 percentage points.
