Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told the editorial board of the Cincinnati Enquirer he doesn’t believe in global warming.
McConnell: ‘I don’t buy’ that climate is changing. In 1970s ‘we were all concerned about the ice age coming.’

McConnell has raised doubts about climate change science before, but never so directly. McConnell’s quotes on the issue were tweeted by an Enquirer reporter in the meeting.
McConnell to @Enquirer: Climate change – ‘pick your period’ and data will support your ‘bias.’

McConnell to @Enquirer: ‘For everyone who thinks it’s warming I can find someone who says it isn’t.’ Cites winter. ‘I don’t buy it.’

McConnell also said Speaker John Boehner will definitely be returning the next Congress.
McConnell: ‘There’s zero chance Boehner’s not going to be Speaker next time.’ Same thing @SpeakerBoehner told @enquirer Monday himself.
