Pizza Delivery Woman Pulls Gun, Sends Robbers Fleeing

On March 13th a pizza delivery woman in North Carolina foiled an attempted robbery by pulling a handgun on the suspects that cornered her.

According to The Fayetteville Observer, 26-year-old Ashley Marie Hurd “took an order to a house on the 200 block of Stuart Avenue about 10 p.m.” When she got to the house, “a man was standing outside,” and she told him how much was due for the pizza.

While she was talking, another man “wearing a dark-colored jacket… came around from the side of the house.” He pressed something against “the back of Hurd’s head and demanded money.”

Hurd then drew her gun – which neither man knew she was carrying – and both suspects fled without getting any money.
