Sarah Palin: 2014 'Mama Grizzlies' Endorsements On the Way

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is ready to roll out some 2014 endorsements for “Mama Grizzly” candidates and will hope to replicate the success her candidates had during the historic 2010 election cycle.

Palin, whose endorsement has the most impact in GOP primaries, said Tuesday, “Get ready to shake things up!

“Our historic 2010 electoral victory was brought to you in no small part by commonsense conservative women across the country who rose up to organize support for others and to run for office themselves,” she wrote. “In fact, we could call 2010 the year of the commonsense conservative woman – or, as I like to call them, the Mama Grizzlies!”

Palin wrote that, “just like those powerful bears who rear up on their hind legs to fight any threat to their young cubs, American women will always rise up to protect the future for our children and grandchildren.”

“When we see reckless D.C. politicians bankrupting our country and mortgaging our children’s future, the women of America rise up,” she said. “When we see an arrogant administration take away our family’s health care plans and force us to buy worse plans that we don’t want and can’t afford, we rise up. When we see a corrupt administration spying on our communications, lying to us about the death of our ambassador, and sicking the IRS on its political opponents, we Mama Grizzlies rise up!”

Palin has noted that when the women-powered Tea Party movement ran “Mama Grizzlies” in 2010, Democrats were not able to use the “war on women” strategy, and she said that will not deter the left from trying again in 2014 to paint the GOP as the anti-women party. Palin warned Americans to “look for the left to manufacture false narratives to distract us from the real dilemmas facing our nation.”

“The left will no doubt continue their war on conservative women, but the Mama Grizzlies will rise up in 2014 just as they did in 2010,” she wrote. “Today, more women are small business owners than ever before. Women in households tend to make the family’s health care decisions, and women who manage a family budget have a keen sense of the need to economize and live within our means. The party of big wasteful corrupt and bullying government has little to offer women.”

Palin focused on the same themes during her CPAC speech.

“Hey Democrats, it’s your leaders who are demeaning to women,” Palin said. “Liberals seem to think the women of America are cheap dates. Feed ’em a few lines about that free birth control, throw in some scary quotes about the war on women, and they will be yours.”

Palin has already shown how much her endorsement has meant. She recently endorsed senate candidates T.W. Shannon, Chris McDaniel, and Ben Sasse in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Nebraska, respectively. Shannon, who trailed by 35 points, has closed his deficit to single digits in a poll taken four days after Palin’s endorsement. Shannon told Breitbart News that Palin’s endorsement brings “more than money can buy.”
