Breitbart News Saturday: Steve Deace: 'Republicrats' Greater Threat Than 'RINOs'

On Breitbart News Saturday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Steve Deace, the influential Iowa talk radio host, said “Republicrats” are a greater threat to conservatism than RINOs (Republicans in Name Only).

It’s a major point he details in his new book, Rules for Patriots: How Conservatives Can Win Again, which is a playbook for the conservative movement on how to win elections and take back the institutions of power. This book is a counter to Saul Alinsky’s infamous Rules for Radicals for the left.

Speaking to co-hosts Stephen K. Bannon, Breitbart News Executive Chairman, and Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow, Deace said that RINOs like Chris Christie and Christine Todd Whitman are easily spotted because they run on more liberal platforms in blue states and govern from the middle-left.

“Republicrats” in red states like Texas, though, are tougher to spot and ultimately more dangerous because they do not simply talk like conservatives. They also employ an army of establishment consultants who feed them the things to say to patronize the base–things they only care about during election time. These Republicrats, according to Deace, talk like conservatives only to lurch to the left when they get elected. They are then often indistinguishable from Democrats.

For instance, Deace said these establishment consultants think that if they tell Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to wave a gun at CPAC, the conservative base will forget about everything he has done to undermine the conservative movement and “rally around the flag for Team GOP.”

“These Republicrats have killed us,” Deace said.

Deace also made it a point to tell conservatives, “Don’t ever attack what you are not willing to kill.” He said if conservatives do not have it in them to “so devastate” the establishment infrastructure before taking it back, the fight is not worth fighting due to the collateral damage.

Deace will speak more about his playbook in an appearance on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 on Sunday. That show, hosted by Bannon, airs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
