Joy Behar Tells Chris Christie 'You're Toast' to His Face Over Bridge Scandal

It may have been a celebrity roast, but former co-host of “The View” Joy Behar took things pretty far at an event in Newark, New Jersey on April 1.

“When I first heard that he [Chris Christie] was accused of blocking off three lanes on the bridge, I said, ‘What the hell is he doing, standing in the middle of the bridge?'”

After a series of fat jokes, Behar got personal after Christie, who was sitting directly next to Behar, glared at her during the roast.

“I really don’t know about the Presidency,” she said. “Let me put it to you this way, in a way that you’d appreciate: You’re toast.”
