11 Days Ago HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Claimed She Was 'Sticking Around'

Only 11 days before she abruptly resigned as Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius claimed she was not going anywhere and was in for the long haul.

Speaking to the Huffington Post on March 31, Sebelius noted how pleased she was to be part of the Obama administration’s Obamacare efforts. Helping people was her great joy and she said, “it’s what keeps me going every day and that’s why I stick around.”

“HuffPost Live’s” Alyona Minkovski then asked the Secretary, “So, you’re staying for a while?”

“I’m in,” Sebelius replied.

Yet, 11 days later, Kathleen Sebelius has resigned from her post.
