The FBI is investigating the busted Oregon Obamacare exchange which received $305 million in taxpayer-funded federal grants yet failed to enroll a single Oregonian online.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the FBI investigation has already begun conducting interviews with those involved in Oregon Obamacare exchange.
Democratic Gov. John Kitzhaber blames contractor Oracle for his state’s failed Obamacare exchange. Earlier this year, Kitzhaber walked out of an interview when he was asked what he knew and when he knew it.
Oregon Republican Party Chairman Dr. Art Robinson told Breitbart News he expects Kitzhaber and Democrats’ massive Oregon Obamacare debacle to weigh heavily on voters come election season.
“The feeling out here is Obamacare is a disaster,” said Robinson. “If they can’t sign people up, how can they run the health care system? They can’t. Republicans have a strong ground game and a great shot at winning.”
Oregon has long been a Democratic stronghold. However, a National Republican Senatorial Committee memo issued earlier this month showed Republicans expanding the electoral map into blue state Oregon. The memo said first-term Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley is “incredibly vulnerable, far more so than most suspected.”
A new Pew/USA Today poll finds Democrats in a weaker position today than they were prior to the historic landslide 2010 GOP midterm election victory.
