On May 15, a man renting a home in Inkster, Michigan, pulled into his driveway to find suspects loading his possessions into their car. A gunfight ensued and he killed one of the suspects.
According to WXYZ ABC 7, the renter arrived home in the evening “and saw people loading what he thought were his belongings in a car outside of the home.” When he confronted the suspects one of them pulled a gun and began firing, striking the renter in the leg.
The renter pulled his own gun and killed the suspect who shot him. Police said the deceased suspect “was 23-years old… and was with several others at that time.”
The other suspects escaped capture.
