George W. Bush: Brother Jeb 'Wants to Be President'

On Thursday, former President George W. Bush said he thinks his brother Jeb “wants to be president.”

While speaking to FOX & Friends, Bush said Jeb Bush would “be a great president.”

“He understands what it’s like to be president,” the former president said, according to the New York Daily News. “He’s seen his dad, he’s seen his brother. He’s a very thoughtful man and he’s weighing his options.”

Former President Bush reportedly said he was “pushing him to run for president” and that his brother was saying he had not made a decision. “I truly don’t think he has,” he stated. He also said he thought the younger Bush did not like that “his older brother was pushing him.”

Bush made his FOX & Friends comments, which were sure to generate attention, during a segment to spotlight Thursday’s “4th annual Warrior Open golf tournament in Dallas to honor veterans.”
