Police arrested a Las Vegas man after he allegedly robbed two stores that sell remote-controlled drones to pay off drug debts.

Police arrested Leopoldo Flores Jr. on charges of burglary, conspiracy and grand larceny for breaking into two drone stores over successive nights early in December.

One store was robbed of $3,000 worth of wares while the second lost $8,000 to the thefts.

Flores denied any part in the robberies, but later allegedly admitted his involvement and said that he needed the money to pay off a $1,000 meth debt.

The accused burglar also told police that he’d sold some of the drones on Craigslist.
