On January 9, Breitbart News reported four armed robbers allegedly stormed the She’s a Pistol female gun store in Shawnee, Kansas, and became engaged in a shootout with co-owner Jon Bieker after the robbers allegedly punched John’s wife, Becky Bieker.

Jon was able to shoot three of the robbers before being shot himself. His wound proved fatal, but Becky survived unscathed.

Becky has now released a written statement praising privately owned firearms and making sure everyone knows she is alive because her husband was armed.

According to KCTV 5, Becky’s statement says, “Guns are not evil. I would not be able to make this statement if private citizens such as (Jon) and I were banned from owning them. Please respect my husband’s memory by refusing to turn this tragedy into a political statement in support of banning firearms.

“She’s a Pistol” specializes in providing “personal protection” training and firearms to women.

The Kansas City Star reports that all four robbery suspects have been charged with first-degree murder for the death of Jon Bieker.
