The 30th Anniversary gala for EMILY’s List was basically a kickoff rally for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to run for president.

Speakers that took the podium at the gala made sure to mention Clinton in the most glowing words possible, recognizing her for putting “18 million cracks in the glass ceiling” and urging her to run in 2016.

EMILY’s List president Stephanie Schriock insisted that “nobody in American political history has faced more unfair attacks, more desperate opposition, more overwhelming adversity than Hillary,” she said praising her for showing women “how to shake off the setbacks” and “ignore the haters.”

Clinton did not pretend that she isn’t planning a run. “Don’t you think it’s time for a woman president?” she cried, before exiting the stage to Katy Perry’s song “Unconditionally.”

Highlights below include words from Sen. Al Franken, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Barbara Mikulski, Lena Dunham, and California’s Democratic Attorney General Kamala Harris.
