On Monday, Wayne Community College “print shop operator” Ron Lane was allegedly shot and killed by Kenneth Stancil.

Wayne Community College is in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

According to ABC 15, no other victims or shooting were reported, and police believe Stancil left the campus after allegedly shooting Lane.

Police say Stancil allegedly “entered a campus building that houses the library and cafeteria with a rifle and shot Lane” shortly after he came to work. Lane was “a long-time campus employee.”

Police say Lane and Stancil knew each other but a motive for the alleged murder has not been released.

The search for Stancil continues.
