On May 1, a Pittsburgh homeowner shot and killed two at the same address where police arrested four people for an alleged home invasion earlier in the week.

The incident took place around 9 p.m. on the 1000 block of Jewett Avenue, and according to 5 KPIX, police arrived to find two suspects dead from their injuries.

The details that led to the shots are still under investigation, but “investigators are looking into the possibility that the deceased were killed in an interrupted burglary attempt.”

Police do not yet know if there are ties between the two dead suspects and the alleged home invasion earlier in the week, during which they arrested four.
