Bobby Jindal: Hillary Clinton Is One Email Away From Prison

Republican presidential candidate Gov. Bobby Jindal says Hillary Clinton is “one email away from prison time.”

Louisiana governor Jindal, stumping in Muscatine, Iowa, delivered a scathing critique of Clinton’s legal troubles. Clinton said over the weekend that she has turned over all of her business emails to a federal judge, except for the “classified” emails that the State Department exempted from release to the public and to federal courts in the multiple civil actions against her.

“Hillary Clinton is already under investigation by the FBI,” Jindal said. “Now she’s signed a sworn affidavit to a federal judge, under penalty of perjury, that she has handed over all of her government business emails.”

“Which means that she’s one email away from prison time. She’d better pray the Chinese government doesn’t do a document dump.”

“Maybe her friend Martha Stewart can stop giving her interior decorating advice and give her jailhouse survival tips instead,” Jindal quipped. “Orange really will be the new black.”

Ex-convict Martha Stewart recently hinted at her support for Clinton’s candidacy.
