A Democrat Congressman with a long pro-abortion voting record swiped a bizarre papal souvenir when the Pontiff left the podium after his address to Congress this week. The Democrat stole the Pope’s water glass in order to sprinkle the “holy” water on his grandchildren.

After the Pontiff’s address to Congress, Rep. Bob Brady (D-PA) told constituents that he snuck up to the podium and grabbed the Pope’s water glass. Brady then purposefully took the “holy” water back to his office and began to dole out little sips of the water to his wife and some staffers in his office.

To prove his devotion to the pope, Brady even took photos of himself awkwardly pouring the water into the open mouths of others and then posted the photos to his social media.

Brady also told constituents that he intended to save some of the water to sprinkle on his grandchildren.

The Congressman says he is a devout Catholic, but despite that, he has a long history of supporting even the most extreme pro-abortion policies, something that puts him wholly at odds with the very Church he claims to love.

In 2000, Bob Brady even showed his support for the most extreme abortion procedure possible by voting in favor of partial birth abortion, a procedure where a live baby is killed on the way out of its mother’s birth canal.

Brady is so extreme on abortion that he has been awarded a 100 percent approval rating from the abortion-pushing National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL), and a low 9 percent from the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC).

This isn’t the first time Brady has pulled this bizarre water glass stunt. According to the Philadelphia Daily News, Brady also absconded with the water glass Obama used during his second inaugural speech. Brady claims he had both glasses dusted for fingerprints under the assumption that this might somehow prove he had actually taken the water glasses of his two famous idols.
