Hillary Clinton’s right-hand State Department aide Huma Abedin took payment to plan a lavish party for clients of the private Clinton-linked consulting firm Teneo Holdings.

The Washington Times reports that Abedin worked on planning the party that hosted Teneo clients and featured former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and close Clinton confidant/ex-British prime minister Tony Blair.

Teneo Holdings was co-founded by longtime Bill Clinton right-hand man Doug Band, who eventually resigned from Clinton-World to avoid suspicions about his role in the family business.

Abedin worked for Teneo Holdings in the latter part of 2012 while she was simultaneously working for the State Department. Her compensation from the firm was reportedly $15,000 per month.

“Huma’s role for the New York event was on behalf of Teneo, while her work for the [separate] Ireland event was clearly on behalf of the State Department. But the firm, the Clintons and Huma were intertwined, and that makes it hard to separate when looking back in hindsight,” a source told the Times.

“Teneo didn’t need Huma to get Bill Clinton or the other luminaries to the event, but she was hired to help make the event successful in terms of who attended and what they experienced,” another source added.

As Breitbart News reported, Abedin actively recruited business executive Ken Miller for an advisory role at Teneo Holdings on her State Department email account while she was on an official trip with Hillary Clinton.

Abedin and Clinton also accepted dinner reservations in Dublin, Ireland, from Teneo chairman and CEO Declan Kelly.
