Sen. Marco Rubio has indicated that he will not be watching the Democratic debate on CNN tonight, suggesting that he’ll be “busy” preparing for the next day of his presidential campaign.

During an interview with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, Rubio was asked if he would be watching the debate.

“I doubt I’ll be watching. I’ve got a busy day ahead of me,” he said, assuring the audience that he would likely see the highlights of the Democratic debates.

Rubio assured Fox News viewers that the debate would be a “race to the left” of the Democratic party.

“All the candidates will see which one can out-liberal the other. Right now, one of the guys that’s leading in the polls is Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist,” he said.

He pointed out that Clinton was also running far left of President Obama to earn the growing radical left branch of the party.

When asked for a response to President Obama’s assertion that he theoretically could win a third term as president, Rubio disagreed.

“If you look at it now, this election in many ways is going to be a rejection of the Obama agenda,” he said.
