On the campaign trail, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie delivers a speech that discusses his relationship with his parents and his family and how that relationship makes him want to run for president of the United States.

The campaign has clipped a version of the speech that they filmed at a recent townhall speech in New Hampshire.

It’s a long speech, but he reminds the audience that he isn’t running for president just to get a book deal or a show on Fox News and he isn’t there to complain about being treated badly by the media or his fellow running mates.

Instead, he shares with the audience, his deathbed conversation with his mother which explains why he is the man he is the man he is today.

“Now that Donald Trump is in the race, I’m only the second most psychoanalyzed politician in the race,” he jokes.

The speech gets rave reviews from supporters and is frequently shared online. This Thanksgiving, the campaign clipped the best version of this speech that even the New York Times praised for connecting with voters.
