What did the Obama family eat for Thanksgiving?

According to the White House there was no shortage of pies, one of President Obama’s favorite desserts.

The menu released by the White House shows six different pies:

Banana Cream Pie
Coconut Cream Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Pecan Pie
Cherry Pie

The menu also included two kinds of kale – one in their braised mixture of greens and one in their Kale Caesar Salad.

Although President Obama pardoned the official White House turkey, one made it to his table, as well as a honey baked ham and some prime rib.

The Obama family also opted for two kinds of stuffing – cornbread and oyster – and also brought a dish of macaroni and cheese to the Thanksgiving table.
