Alice Stewart, formerly GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s spokesperson, is now joining fellow GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) campaign.
“Just in: Former Huckabee spokeswoman Alice Stewart has joined @tedcruz’s campaign as a senior adviser,” Texas Tribune reporter Patrick Svitek posted on Twitter.
According to Politico, Stewart will serve as a senior advisor to Cruz.
“Stewart said she cemented a deal to join the Texas senator in the past week,” Politico reports.
Stewart left Huckabee’s campaign last month.
