GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson says he’s “saddened” by the indictment of the individuals who recorded Planned Parenthood officials allegedly attempting to sell aborted baby body parts, which sparked a series of viral videos surfacing online.
As President of the United States, Carson pledges to cut all federal funding of Planned Parenthood and to “prosecute them for crimes against the unborn.”
“Dr. Carson is saddened by today’s Harris County Grand Jury decision to absolve Planned Parenthood from any misconduct,” said Carson’s communications director A. Larry Ross. “He is equally shocked that they instead decided to indict the individuals that exposed Planned Parenthood’s heinous and illegal activities. As President, he will use the full weight of his office to not only cut off all federal funding for this organization, but also prosecute them for crimes against the unborn.”
A grand jury out of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas reportedly issued an indictment for two individuals responsible for making and producing the videos on Monday.
