Cruz: ‘Nancy Reagan Will Be Remembered for Her Deep Passion for This Nation’

Sen. Ted Cruz honored former First Lady Nancy Reagan on Twitter Sunday and offered prayers to her family.

“Nancy Reagan will be remembered for her deep passion for this nation and love for her husband, Ronald,” Cruz tweeted after news broke of her passing. “The Reagan family is in our prayers. ”

According to the AP, the 94-year-old “former first lady died Sunday at her home in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles of congestive heart failure, assistant Allison Borio told The Associated Press.”
