Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has endorsed Colonel Rob Maness in his bid for the United States Senate in Louisiana. Governor Perry joins conservative leaders Rand Paul and Ben Carson with his endorsement of Col. Maness and touted Maness’s military record and domestic agenda.
“I’ll be working hard for Rob and encouraging all my family and friends across the Texas state line to get out and vote for Col. Rob Maness for US Senate,” Perry said in the endorsement. “I endorse Col. Rob Maness for the United States Senate because he knows how to keep us safe and keep us free.”
Maness wasted no time touting the endorsement of the popular former governor of neighboring Texas.

Governor Perry also touted Maness as a champion of the 2nd Amendment saying, “Rob will have no truck with the Washington elites who are trying to take away the people’s right to own a gun. Rob Maness will protect our Second Amendment rights.”
