Outgoing Senate Minority leader Harry Reid is drawing headlines for a new round of attacks against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Reid has taken aim at everything from the accuracy of Real Clear Politics to how Trump recently pronounced Nevada at a recent campaign stop. Using nearly identical tactics as he did against Mitt Romney during the 2012 presidential election, Reid made unsubstantiated claims about Trump’s tax returns and even invoked the Koch Brothers.

The 76-year-old Reid told reporters on a conference call that Trump “raped and pillaged Atlantic City,” backing the claim only by saying, “Who knows what his tax returns would show?”

Reid also made the allegation that Trump would not release his taxes because “they’ll expose him as a spoiled, rich brat who lost the millions he inherited from his father.” Trump has built a business and real estate empire worth billions.

Reid, who lives in the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C., despite spending his career in the public sector, chastised Trump for the “penthouse his daddy bought him”:

Reid also took offense to Trump’s recent joke that Nevadans do not use the correct pronunciation of Nevada; Nevadans pronounce it Nev-ad-a not Nev-ah-duh:

Reid also attacked Real Clear Politics after a reporter asked him about the consistent lead Republican Senate candidate Congressman Joe Heck holds over Reid’s handpicked successor Catherine Cortez Masto. “I don’t want to let any of the air out of your balloon, buddy, but Real Clear Politics is one of the worst,” Reid told the reporter. “Catherine is going to win by a nice margin,” Reid continued. “Real Clear Politics is totally unimpressive to me.”

Reid also trotted out another one of his favorite 2012 themes by attacking the Koch Brothers, stating that they are “trying to buy the Senate because they know that Hillary [Clinton]’s going to win.”

The attacks are vintage Reid, who is not seeking reelection to the Senate this year.
