An 85-year-old Utah man and his wife were robbed of their possessions while at a funeral Saturday.
Officers said 18-year-old Jacqueline Glass and her boyfriend, 19-year-old Dylon Chandler, were arrested after police say they found them with vintage coins, cash, and other items from the victims’ home, KSTU reported.
It did not take long for police to realize that one of the suspects was related to the victims.
The victims led police to the suspects when they noticed Jacqueline was not at the funeral, detectives say.
Detectives say the two admitted to the crime once they were caught.
The suspects were booked into the Utah County Jail and are facing felony burglary charges.
Officers have recovered most of the stolen items, except for one handgun, which officers are concerned about.
