An NRA ad shows a building emblazoned with a sign that shows Election Day as November 9 for gun control supporters.

The ad instructs two groups of Americans–“Second Amendment Supporters” and “Gun Control Activists”–to remember their “assigned voting days,” then lists November 8 as the voting day for pro-gun voters, November 9 as the voting day for anti-gun voters.

Election Day is November 8 for everyone, the NRA is simply making the point that the nation will be remain freer and safer if anti-gun voters don’t show up to vote for gun control candidates.

The NRA endorsed Donald Trump on May 20. He is ardently pro-gun, a concealed carry permit holder, and a life member of the NRA. Moreover, Trump has made his opposition to gun control clear. He opposes the left’s push for an “assault weapons” or a “high capacity” magazine ban. He also opposes the existence of gun free zones on military bases and school campuses. Trump believes our military personnel should be able to exercise their right to self-defense while on base and that teachers who wish to carry should be able to carry a gun to defend themselves and students in the classroom.

The NRA believes Trump is the candidate Americans can trust to defend the Second Amendment.
