President-elect Donald Trump signaled on Monday that there would be no new deals negotiated for his real estate company during his presidency, even though he will pass the management of his business to his children.

“Two of my children, Don and Eric, plus executives, will manage them. No new deals will be done during my term(s) in office,” he announced on Twitter.

Trump postponed a press conference previously scheduled for this week, in which he planned to detail his separation from his business.

“I will hold a press conference in the near future to discuss the business, Cabinet picks and all other topics of interest,” he wrote. “Busy times!”

On Fox News Sunday, Trump explained that he wouldn’t have anything to do with the management of his companies.

“I am turning down billions of dollars of deals … I turned down seven deals with one big player, great player, last week because I thought it could be perceived as a conflict of interest,” he said.
