Contrasting the way media covered up the Obama administration’s genuine mistreatment of the press with their attacks on Trump for his alleged mistreatment, Media Research Center Vice President of Business and Culture Dan Gainor told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday, “Obama took the press to task even before he won. The media glossed over all this.”
Gainor continued, Obama “kicked three reporters off his campaign plane. He went to war with CNBC, with Fox, with Drudge, Helen Thomas and Chip Reid went after his press secretary in the press room over ethics.”
He also pointed out that in a little reported episode “back in December of 2015 the Society of Professional Journalists sent a letter, fifty different people or organizations signed this letter, complaining about how the federal government was handling the press.”
